Each board starts as a hand drawn design in our studio and then laser engraved onto real wood in our shop in Vancouver, WA. No two wood boards are exactly alike—the natural grain, knots and variations in the wood make every board one of a kind.

- Our boards are crafted from high-quality wood. To maintain their beauty and longevity, please follow these care guidelines:
- Avoid deep cuts: To preserve the board’s finish and engraved design, use gentle slicing motions rather than forceful chopping. We recommend using the back of the board for cutting.
- Hand wash only: Do not soak or place in the dishwasher. Wash with mild soap and a damp cloth, then dry immediately.
- Oil regularly: Keep the wood nourished and prevent drying or cracking by applying food-grade mineral oil, cutting board conditioner, or olive oil as needed.
- Avoid prolonged moisture exposure: Standing water can cause warping or splitting. Store in a dry place.
- Keep away from heat: Do not place it in the microwave or oven, as extreme heat can damage the wood.
- For charcuterie use: If using for food presentation, wipe with a food-safe board wax or oil to maintain a smooth surface.
